Critical Community Needs Fund
We’re pleased to announce a new fund to address food insecurity while honoring CFWK’s founder and former mayor of Paducah--the late Gerry Biggs Montgomery--and her parents James and Audelle Biggs. Established with a generous gift from the James and Audelle Biggs Endowment that Mayor Montgomery initiated, the Critical Needs Fund will disburse small grants to nonprofit organizations supplying food to those in need in the Purchase Area.

Marshall County Arts Commission, Inc. Endowment
Founded in 2003, the Marshall County Arts Commission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by a dedicated volunteer board, many of whom are experienced educators and administrators. With over 300 years of collective teaching experience, the Commission relies on fundraising, grants, and community contributions for financial support, as it is not an established taxing district. The Commission aims to enrich the lives of community members, particularly underserved children, ensuring that no child is denied access to its programs due to financial constraints. Collaborating with local agencies, it provides quality programming for schools and hosts family-oriented events. The opening of the Children's Art Center has enabled the Commission to launch a dynamic visual arts program, creating a central venue for arts activities and exhibitions. The Center also serves as a community space for various events and showcases local artists through monthly gallery exhibits. Currently, the Commission is focused on expanding its facilities, enhancing community partnerships, and developing a sustainable income source through a newly established Charitable Foundation. Contributions from individuals and businesses are welcome to support its growing initiatives. Join us in fostering creativity and enriching lives in Marshall County! Dolly Parton Imagination Library for Livingston County
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library for Livingston County Fund supports a powerful early literacy initiative that delivers free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five—no matter their family’s income. Thanks to the generosity of community donors, this program has flourished since its launch in 2022. In its first month, 95 children were enrolled. As of fall 2025, the program consistently serves between 275 and 300 children each month—reaching 67% of all eligible children in Livingston County. By year end 2025, 428 children have received a total of 2,554 books, helping to build home libraries and a lifelong love of reading. This impact is especially meaningful in a county where 42.5% of children under five live at or below 200% of the poverty line. By placing books directly into the hands of young children, this fund helps close opportunity gaps, strengthen school readiness, and support families in nurturing early literacy from day one. Gifts to this fund ensure that every child in Livingston County has the chance to grow up with books—one story at a time.

Duke and Duchess of Paducah Fund
The Duke & Duchess Foundation of Paducah builds on a proud tradition which has honored individuals for more than 75 years. The newly-established Duke & Duchess charitable foundation will bring together Dukes and Duchesses from across the country and around the world, channeling their shared connection to Paducah into meaningful support for the region.
The Duke and Duchess of Paducah honors remain a distinct and long-standing civic recognition. The new Duke & Duchess Foundation is being formed to function alongside the honor as a separate philanthropic extension, by providing a structured way for honorees and supporters to remain engaged through meaningful community investment. By linking recognition with an opportunity for giving, the Foundation provides a meaningful way for honorees to help expand opportunity, strengthen local organizations, and carry forward a legacy rooted in service and civic pride.
