About Us

Lee Emmons
Chief Executive Officer
Lee is a nonprofit executive and philanthropic leader with more than three decades of experience in strategic nonprofit management, resource development, and communications and marketing. Lee has dedicated her career to strengthening communities through strategic fundraising, organizational leadership, and public engagement. Prior to joining CFWK, Lee served as Director of Philanthropy for the Western Kentucky Region of the University of Kentucky and was Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the Paducah Junior College Foundation at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. She has also led nonprofit organizations serving the most vulnerable populations, including victims of child abuse and adults with severe developmental disabilities. A longtime Paducah resident, Lee is an active civic leader, currently serving as Chair of the City of Paducah Ethics Board and participating in numerous community and professional organizations. She has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Morehead State University.

Megan Johnson
Chief Financial Officer
Megan is a graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. She helps oversee the financial stewardship of the foundation and supports its work with donors and funds. She lives in Benton, Kentucky, with her husband and two children.

Julie McKeel
Director of Grants, Compliance, and Special Projects
Julie brings a wide range of experience to her role, including work as a journalist, law partner, nonprofit advocacy director, and adjunct professor at Murray State University. She is a proud University of Kentucky alum, where she earned both her bachelor’s degree in journalism and her J.D.

Kathy McHaney
Manager, Programs and Publications
Kathy brings a strong background in marketing, photography, graphic design, higher education, and nonprofit work. She has served in a variety of volunteer and advisory roles in the Paducah community and is a graduate of Drury University.

Autumn Crawford
Administrative Assistant
Autumn is a Paducah native and a graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Integrated Studies. She assists in the daily function of the foundation. She has experience with administrative roles, radio broadcasting, and graphic communications.
